Student permit sales for the 2026/27 academic year begin Tuesday, August 4 at 9:00 a.m.

Consider Transportation Alternatives

We encourage those on campus to utilize a variety of alternative transportation options – including TCAT bus passes (free to first year students!), cycling, walking, rideshare, Campus-to-Campus, and Daily Decision parking to help students get to and from campus.

About Student Permits 

• Permits are sold on a first come, first serve basis and availability is limited.
• Purchase your permit at myparking.cornell.edu. 
• Permits are valid August 16, 2026 to August 15, 2027.
• Available permit types include: 
  • On-Campus Residential
  • Commuter
  • Accessible
  • Graduate Students on Assistantships
  • Motorcycle

Students living in university housing should select the residential permit associated with their campus housing assignment.
