The Project Management team provides collaborative leadership for capital projects at Cornell University.  As the University's project management center, Engineering and Project Management provides leadership and promotes management excellence for our PMs as well as satellite project management groups located in Colleges and Units. Our team authors and publishes the Project Management Checklists in collaboration with key stakeholders. We set consistent PM service standards through monthly training and consistent performance expectations. The proven benefits and cost savings of centralized project management leadership includes efficiencies associated with optimized bidding, project bundling, acquisition planning, reduced errors & omissions, streamlined processes, and consistent communications.

Our team is involved in all stages of project development and scoping and is responsible for:

  1. Capital Project Management
    • Pre-Design Phase
    • Design Phase
    • Bid Phase
    • Construction Phase
    • Close Out Phase
